PageRank
Most of the people tend to believe that the success of your website depends only on the google Page Rank when in fact, nobody, not even the value of the Page Rank can guarantee the placement on the SERP (Search Engine Results Page). PageRank is a factor, but not unique, always keep this in mind.
Comes down to SEO Meta Keywords
SEO is not just about Meta Keywords! A long time ago, Google used the meta-keywords in order to understand the issue about which web pages were talking about. This caused many people to begin to put words that have a high volume of searches in search engine pages that do not have to do with those words. In short, Google realized this and made an update in its algorithm, making it virtually irrelevant the use of this meta-tag. The keywords are important but, should be used in the text and wisely, does not help fill the text for keywords, the content must be relevant as a whole.
You do not need Briefing / Planning
SEO involves techniques that are related to various areas, creation, writing, technology, planning and even the service and the client. As something that involves so many areas do not need planning or briefing? Areas like briefing, planning and lots of conversation are necessary and all must be set preferably before or during the project design. SEO is not a job for later, can even be done later, but I assure you, it is much easier if it can be done before.
SEO can be solved with Technology
The technology is very important, but also part of a puzzle known as SEO, is just one of the pieces. Find that the technology can solve everything is a big mistake. Produce an optimized page and make the lives of search engine spiders easier part of the programming process. Using tags properly, do a code clean and light, optimize images and videos, etc.. SEO vs. SEM (Sponsored Links)
SEO is not competing sponsored links, both are entirely different things. The SEO work in the long term, while the SEM works in the short term. If possible, use the two together and get the better results.
Offline is not part of SEO
The few people remember or simply do not think it is part, another mistake! Online is part of SEO rather. According to me, approximately 67% of users of online search engines are coming from offline channels, among these, 37% TV and the “word of mouth” with 36%, are the channels that lead most users to the researchers and also 40% of users looking for online and offline channels have been influenced by making a purchase, or through a search you can extend the coverage of their campaigns online and / or offline, and the tip is: to use the same language because sometimes the person does not remember who was advertising, but the person would remember that keyword and your site is in line with the offline channel, and the person will find you through search engine.
